Our story
Paraguayan tradition, made in Pereira since 1964
Bobadilla’s story begins on a football pitch and continues around a grill. It is the story of a family with Paraguayan roots who chose to stay in the Coffee Region.
1964 · Where it all began
From Club Nacional of Paraguay to Deportivo Pereira
It was 1964 when Don Isaías Bobadilla Carrera arrived in Pereira from Club Nacional of Paraguay to join Deportivo Pereira. He played there until 1969 and scored 31 goals in 232 matches. His legacy, and that of his fellow Paraguayans, is still part of the team’s history.
At the end of his career, in love with this land, he founded his first business with his wife, Beatriz Céspedes, known to everyone as “Beba”.
